Summer ProgramsLike any traditional summer camp, there's boating, fishing, swimming, arts and crafts, etc. However, there's a big Hole in the Wall difference:
- One adult for or every two children.
- Specially heated swimming pools and emergency heating huts for children with sickle cell.
- Nurses who distribute meds to children in cabins or in the field so they don't have to miss out on any of the fun.
- Specially trained counselors who can relate to the individual needs of the campers
- Infirmaries cleverly disguised as places children actually like to go ("Paul's Body Shop", "The Well Shell").
- Activities specially designed to give the Campers a sense of accomplishment and independence.
"Just one week at camp taught me.I can accomplish anything I want as long as I put my mind to it-no matter what my limitations are."
