Hole in the Wall Camps
Hole in the Wall Camps are designed to create positive recreational experiences where children with serious illnesses are understood and accepted. Our camps are fully inclusive with accessible tree houses, adaptive equestrian programs, high and low ropes courses and all the traditional “camp” activities like swimming, boating, arts and crafts and campfires. Children soar at camp because we give them the chance to do things they never imagined possible due to the complexity of their medical needs. At camp children build independence, gain self-confidence and enhance coping and resilience.

Medical Component of Camp
Almost unnoticeably our medical teams ensure that every child receives the medicine and medical care they need without interrupting their camp experience. Hole in the Wall Camps focus on fun, not on being sick. Learn more about the QUALITY OF CARE at camp.
Hospital Outreach
As part of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps’ commitment to reach as many children with serious illness as possible, a number of our camps offer Hospital Outreach Programs. These innovative programs bring the hopeful, playful spirit of camp to children in the hospital, helping to build confidence and restore joy and laughter during times that can be scary, uncertain and lonely.
