Association of Hole in the Wall Camps Outcome Studies

Hole in the Wall Camps and programs are designed to create positive, recreational experiences for children with serious medical conditions. Our programs are thoughtfully developed to enhance coping and resilience; to foster independence and personal growth; and to help our campers reach beyond the limits of their medical conditions.  Although they may only recognize the fun and adventure, our activities are purposeful and provide therapeutic benefit.

We believe it is critical to recognize the importance the camp experience has on children’s health, their quality of life and their future. It is our goal to continuously increase our knowledge of how to better serve our campers. The published studies listed below describe the effects our camps have on the children we serve. As new studies are published we will add them to this list. If you are interested in learning more about our outcome studies, please CONTACT US.
