Located in the midst of a World Wildlife Foundation Reserve in Tuscany, Dynamo Camp is the first camp in Italy designed for children with life-threatening and chronic diseases. 2007 marked Dynamo’s first season, and children from the area had the opportunity 
to kick back, relax and soak up the sunshine. Dynamo’s therapeutic recreation program allows children to gain confidence, self-esteem and independence while making unforgettable memories with new friends. Behind all of the fun, the camp’s intentional programming is designed to enable the children to experience success and to discover newfound strength and courage to cope with their illness.
Dynamo’s enthusiastic staff and volunteers engage the campers and their families in year-round programs. The camp encourages children to explore their talents and interests and offers wonderful outdoor programs – horseback riding, high and low ropes climbing, camping in the wild – as well as cooking and chocolate making classes and an amazing theatrical program, where the campers take part in everything from onstage acting to the behind the scenes setup and the production of the play.
Since opening in 2007, Dynamo Camp has given the Hole in the Wall experience to nearly 230 children.

If I Were a Wizard...
The following was written this summer by a teenage camper at Dynamo Camp
If I were a wizard I would have a long and grey beard, a long conical hat same colour as my tunic, with shining stars. I would wave my stick up and down, right and left, I would be full of knowledge. I would pass through the clouds and walk on the waters. In case of drought I would bring rain and make the trees grow, I would stop nastiness; I would have radar to show me the way, to distinguish bad and good people. I would go across the time; I would touch the stars and stop environmental catastrophes. I would stop the death of an innocent person; I would control adults and force them to give young people more freedom. I would bury hate and create love,I would destroy the wars and let the World live in peace!
This kind of magic has already been done at Dynamo Camp.
